Through these first few months of college life I have learned a few things:
1. It is okay if you don't do as well as you anticipated. Everything happens for a reason and life will go on. If you don't make straight A's because you took a harder workload than you thought you could handle, it will all be okay. It doesn't mean you aren't smart, it simply means you had absolutely no idea what you were getting yourself into!

2. Believe people when they say your friends in high school don't necessarily become life long friends. I definitely found this to be true. I have known two girls who will be my best friends before I went to college, i have since found one more and I don't know what I would do if I was doing this whole "college" thing without her by my side.
*A few of my favorite friend quotes*
~Some people come into your life for a very specific reason.
~We crossed paths at exactly the right time.
~Good friends help you to find the most important things when you have lost them... your smile, your hope, and your courage.
3. I am a much pickier eater than I ever thought possible. Before leaving for school I had no idea I was picky. Probably because my family had grown accustomed to it and they would make and buy foods I would eat.
4. College is basically a glorified boarding school. Lets face it; you move away from home to spend all your time going to school and focusing on school. It is totally a boarding school.
5. Most importantly I have learned that everyone comes from different backgrounds. Sometimes this can be very bad, like when it comes to cleanliness, but most of the time it is a great thing. I love my roommates so much, I wouldn't change anyone of them. There might be some things we struggle with about each other, but when it comes down to it, we would be there to help each other in a heart beat. I could not have asked for better roommates. Love you girls more than you know! We are all our own kind of monster, yet we became friends anyway! :)
